LGA IS EXCITED TO WELCOME new students in each grade, kindergarten through fifth! Students will be coming to LGA from Greenfield, Wendell, Montague, Easthampton, Amherst, Belchertown, Hadley, and Northampton.
LGA DISCOVERY CAMPS, JULY 5-31, 2010, has finished year #1! Campers had a great time cooking up a storm, launching a week's worth of rockets, learning the ups 'n downs of flight, and exploring their creative side with papermaking and photography. Check here for photos and information. The camp is open to ALL children entering 1st-6th grade, regardless of where they attend school during the year.
THE PJ PALS PROGRAM will once again run monthly on Fridays, 1:00-2:00pm, October-February. The PJ Library invites parents and preschoolers, 2-4 years old, to enjoy fun Jewish-themed stories and creative activities. Special guests will lead activities with music, art, and movement! LGA HAS BEEN CHOSEN AS ONE OF THREE NATIONWIDE SITES sites to partner with the Mandel Center for Studies in Jewish Education at Brandeis University in an effort to support new teachers as they take their places at Jewish day schools. For more info, our April 27 issue of Koleinu.

FALL FOOD DRIVE BEGINS! In partnership with CBI, LGA hopes to collect 5770 pounds of food for the Northampton Survival Center! As of this writing, parents and students are busy filling their shopping bags. Come back in a few weeks to see the final amount of food that was collected....
6th GRADE WENT TO TEVA Environmental Learning Center in November. Teva, located in Falls Village, CT, integrates outdoor environmental education with Jewish concepts and values and connects Jewish youth from all over New England. For pictures, visit the Teva website.
